Remote Support


HGL Systems, with its knowledgeable staff, is able to remotely help you with any issues you might be facing on your computer.


Remote support is provided using a remote connectivity software application that allows you to temporarily grant permission to an HGL Systems technician to remotely access your computer. A remote connection to your computer must be initiated by you from your computer. The remote connection is completely secure and can ONLY be allowed by you from your computer. Once your computer problem is fixed by your HGL Systems remote computer tech, the remote connection will disconnected and ONLY you can request another remote computer connection session to your computer. HGL Systems offers two types of remote computer support services: Unlimited Monthly Remote Support Service Contract and an Hourly Rate Remote Support. Some examples of services that we provide remotely

  • Virus removal (depending on the severity, we may need physical access to the system, click here for more details)
  • Assistance with Microsoft Office - versions 97, 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010
  • Optimizing your computer for speed. We can restore your computer to it's former snappiness and responsiveness
  • Diagnostics - all computer are not fail-proof. Sometimes a failing hard drive will be causing many errors and slow-downs on your system. We can remotely diagnose some hardware failures without having to come for a site visit. If a failure is imminent and either advise you on what needs replacing, or take in your PC and perform the repairs here in our office.

Remote support is billed hourly or by service contract.
